After the Summer holidays, 1st Stone returned with a bang!

The Beavers have been taking part in lots of fun activities, including pioneering, tent pitching, visiting a camp and learning all about Space (they even sat by an indoor camp fire!)

Cubs have been busy working on their home skills, keeping healthy, road safety and learning about Diwali and Remembrance Day.

Scouts have been looking at their Mechanics badge, internet safety and even made some fantastic poppy wreaths by weaving willow branches together – you can find these in the flower bed by the Cenotaph!

On top of all that, we’ve had a Group Camp Fire which was really good fun. Everyone joined in with the songs and there was even a burger or hotdog thrown in too! Not to mention the town’s Remembrance Day Parade which was really well attended by our group.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on our adventures this term!
